WHY TRANSITIONAL HOUSES?

By building transitional homes, TECHO provides an immediate solution to these communities most basic needs for shelter. The transitional houses are built by local volunteers and the beneficiary family.
WHAT COMES AFTER TRANSITIONAL HOUSES?
In addition to transitional housing, TECHO supports community development with programs in the following areas:
- Basic Skills Training
Finally, the last phase in TECHO’s model seeks to provide a definitive solution for informal settlements, with the ultimate goal of property regularization, utilities connections, and permanent housing.
